TouchSkin cartridges Round Shader RS/LT

TouchSkin Round Shader cartridges have been developed for controlled shading, tonal work and smooth gradient building. The circular needle arrangement distributes pigment across a wider area than a liner configuration while retaining the precision required for working on smaller sections.

The needle arrangement, tip construction and membrane response work together as a single system, providing smooth movement and predictable pigment delivery.

Control over Every Transition

The Round Shader configuration makes it possible to build intensity gradually without creating abrupt tonal changes. It supports layered work, controlled saturation and transitions tailored to the character of each design.

Transparent, Closely Fitted Tip

TouchSkin Flex System

The TouchSkin Flex System uses membranes with performance characteristics tailored to the purpose of each cartridge type. In the Round Shader configuration, the membrane has been selected to support smooth needle movement and provide a controlled response while gradually building shade.

Round Shader cartridges provide greater precision on smaller areas than wider Magnum configurations, making them suitable for work that requires both softness and accurate control.

Needle Count

The number of needles affects the width of the working area and the rate at which pigment can be distributed.

• 3RS – small areas and precise shading,
• 5RS – a versatile configuration for tonal work,
• 7RS and larger – faster coverage of larger areas.

Needle Diameter

Needle diameter influences the amount of pigment delivered and the intensity of the resulting shade.

• 0.25 mm – delicate shading with a high level of control,
• 0.30 mm – a balance between softness and efficiency,
• 0.35 mm – increased pigment flow and faster surface coverage.

Long Taper

TouchSkin RS cartridges use Long Taper needles. The long, slender needle point supports gradual pigment placement, making it easier to create soft gradients and control shade intensity.

The Long Taper configuration is particularly suited to subtle tonal work, layered saturation building and designs requiring smooth transitions.
